Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Crevo is a small, independent competitor-research tool. These terms cover your use of the Crevo web app at getcrevo.co and the Crevo Helper desktop app. We’ve written them to be read, not skimmed past — they’re short and in plain English.

Honesty note: this page explains how we intend to run Crevo, but it isn’t a substitute for legal advice. If anything here is unclear or seems off, email fahadabdullah1151@gmail.com and we’ll sort it out.

01What Crevo is

Crevo helps DTC brands research competitors’ advertising. It collects ads and metadata that advertisers have already published publicly in Meta’s Ad Library, dedupes them into unique creatives, and analyzes them with Google’s Gemini models using an API key you provide.

Crevo is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Google. The ads you see through Crevo belong to the advertisers who made them.

02Your account

You need an account (an email address and sign-in credentials) to use Crevo. Keep your credentials to yourself — you’re responsible for everything that happens under your account. Give us a real email address so we can reach you about your account when we need to.

03Scraping runs on your machine

This is the most important thing to understand about how Crevo works, so we’ll be precise:

  • All data collection is performed by the Crevo Helper, a desktop app you install and run on your own computer.
  • Requests to Meta’s Ad Library come from your device and your IP address — the same way they would if you browsed the Ad Library yourself. Meta sees your IP, not ours.
  • Crevo’s servers never contact Meta. They only receive and store the results your Helper uploads to your account.

Because collection happens from your machine, you’re responsible for using the Helper sensibly: run it as designed, don’t modify it to hammer Meta’s servers, and make sure your use complies with the laws and any terms that apply to you where you are.

04Your Gemini API key

AI analysis in Crevo runs on your own Google Gemini API key. We store the key encrypted, and we use it for exactly one thing: calling the Gemini API on your behalf when you request an analysis. We never use your key for anything else, and we never share it.

Your Gemini usage is billed by Google under your own Google account, and your use of Gemini is governed by Google’s terms. You can remove your key from Crevo at any time.

05Free tier and paid plans

The free tier includes 5 keyword scrapes. After that, continued use requires a paid plan. Pricing hasn’t been finalized yet — when it is, you’ll see it clearly before you’re ever asked to pay, and nothing will be charged without your explicit action. If plan limits or pricing change later, we’ll tell you before the change affects you.

06Acceptable use

Crevo exists for competitor research on public data. Please don’t:

  • abuse or overload Meta’s Ad Library or Crevo’s servers — for example by modifying the Helper, automating it beyond its design, or running scrapes at a volume clearly meant to strain either service;
  • use Crevo to collect anything that isn’t public — the Helper only touches Meta’s public Ad Library, and it must stay that way;
  • resell, share, or sublicense your account or Crevo’s output as a competing service;
  • probe, disable, or work around Crevo’s security or usage limits;
  • use the service for anything unlawful.

If an account is clearly doing one of these, we may suspend it. We’ll be reasonable about it, and we’ll tell you why.

07Your data & intellectual property

Your scrape results are yours to use for research. They’re stored against your account and you can ask us to delete them at any time (see section 10).

Ad creatives belong to their owners. Crevo gives you a research view of publicly available material; it doesn’t grant you any license to copy, republish, or reuse someone else’s creative work.

The Crevo software is ours. The app, the Helper, and the way we structure analysis remain Crevo’s property. We never sell your personal data — more on that in the Privacy Policy.

08The service may change

Crevo is a young, actively developed product. Features may be added, changed, or removed; the Helper may need updates to keep working; and things that are free today may become part of a paid plan (with notice, per section 5). We’ll make reasonable efforts to keep Crevo available, but we can’t promise uninterrupted uptime.

09“As is”, and limits on our liability

Crevo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. The data you see depends on what Meta’s Ad Library returns and on what Gemini produces — both can be incomplete or wrong, so verify anything important before you bet a budget on it.

To the maximum extent the law allows, Crevo isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, on the free tier, is zero.

10Ending things

You can stop using Crevo at any time. To delete your account and its data, email fahadabdullah1151@gmail.com from your account email and we’ll take care of it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; where it’s reasonable to do so, we’ll warn you first.

11Updates, governing law & contact

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and flag any material change by email or in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, where Crevo’s operator is based.
